This was the first time our wedding photographers Essex, photographed a wedding venue like this and we were excited, to say the least. We first met Iain & Sophie a few months ago at their engagement shoot and we knew that this was going to be a fun wedding.
The day started with the boys at a local hotel in Chelmsford. Here Jordan met the groomsmen and got shots of them getting suited and booted for the day ahead. Everyone was calm and Iain tested their knowledge via a quiz he wrote for the reception. Once the guys were dressed, Jordan headed to get shots of the bridal party.
The feeling in the air was very much the same with the girls but maybe a little too calm as we ended up being a little bit late for the ceremony. When we arrived, we were greeted by a big red double-decker bus, it was awesome.
The ceremony was followed by nibbles in the church garden and we used the opportunity to grab some group shots and stuff our face with pork-pies.
We weren't sure what to expect at the Essex County Cricket Ground as we haven't worked there before but Jordan was pleasantly surprised. We had a brilliant time shooting this wedding and the team at Capture House Weddings wish Sophie & Iain the best of luck for their future!
