On the 16th of November 2024, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing Jess and Scott’s elegant yet wildly fun wedding at the stunning Gaynes Park in Essex. From relaxed, heartfelt moments to a cocktail-fuelled dance party, this day had everything – and then some.

Elegant Beginnings

The day began with Jess and her bridal party getting ready in the gorgeous on-site cottage, full of laughter and anticipation. Scott and his crew were just as chilled, setting the tone for a day that never felt rushed or overly formal.

Their ceremony was beautifully intimate, accompanied by the soft melodies of a harpist. It was the perfect way to start their celebration – full of emotion and love.

Relaxed Vibes & Beautiful Moments

After the ceremony, guests gathered in the orangery for a relaxed drinks reception while we captured formal group photos, candid moments and some stunning couple portraits around the grounds. Jess and Scott didn’t want anything too posed, so we kept things natural and fun – just how we like it.

Gaynes Park offers such a picturesque backdrop that we couldn’t help but get creative, using the beautiful gardens and rustic barn features before the sun set.

Dinner, Speeches… Then the Party REALLY Started

Dinner was served in the stunning Mill Barn, followed by heartfelt speeches that had everyone smiling. As darkness fell – and the fairy lights came into their own – cocktail hour kicked off in style.

Think espresso and porn star martinis, an interactive dry ice dessert station, and their favourite live singer performing a set that turned the orangery into a dance floor. The vibe? Absolute chaos in the best way.

Their Irish guests brought the energy, especially when the singer dropped classic Irish tunes like “The Rattlin’ Bog” – it turned into an impromptu pre-dance party with the kind of scenes you can’t plan, but will never forget.

Evening Celebrations

As evening guests arrived, the party kept going. Jess and Scott cut the cake, shared their first dance, and then the DJ took over, keeping the dance floor packed all night. The candid moments just kept coming – laughter, big moves, emotional hugs – it was one of those nights that felt like a proper celebration from start to finish.

A Day to Remember

Jess and Scott, thank you for inviting us into your world for the day. Your wedding was the perfect mix of elegance, personality and pure fun – with a soundtrack to match. We loved every second of it.

Here’s to many more cocktail hours and spontaneous dance parties in your future!
