Riess & Ashley first came to us for wedding videography after being recommended by the team at Hedingham Castle. Capture House Weddings are one of the recommended suppliers at this gorgeous Essex wedding venue and are very familiar with the surroundings and the staff.
The couple opted for the Full Wedding Package meaning they had two of our videographers from morning preparations until the evening just after the first dance. Both Ashley & Riess were very relaxed, fun and laid back people meaning the day was always going to be focused on having a great day with no stress, our ideal wedding.
One videographer started the day with the groomsmen and the other with the bridal party at little cottages located on the grounds, this was handy as it allowed us to get shots of Hedingham Castle and the surrounding areas during the quieter moments.
The ceremony took place within the castle which is always difficult due to the dark, candlelit ceremony. As a preferred videographer supplier, we have lots of experience with this venue so it was no issue for our team.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the remaining sunlight and spent a short time capturing the couple being themselves with the photographer. We were keen to get this done quickly to get Ashley & Riess back in the warm!
The reception took place inside the house and marquee where we were joined by a magician and served canapes. As it was December, the venue was decked out with stunning Christmas decorations and the fire was roaring.
Riess is a DJ by trade so the evening was full of club classics that got everyone on the dancefloor. The DJ who was performing on the night works with Riess and sings with the music and put on a fantastic show.
We had a brilliant day and wish Ashley & Riess a long and happy life together!
