A couple of weeks back, we spent the day with the fabulous Ashley & Luke to photograph their wedding at Maiden's Barn, High Easter.
The heavens may have opened up on us but this did not affect our day. Jordan met up with Ashley in the morning to capture the last of the bridal preparations and Sam met the groomsmen at Maiden's Barn to get the last of the set-up and get shots of the guys suited and booted. It's fair to say that Luke was a little nervous but as soon the ceremony arrived, he was much more relaxed.
We bumped into Jill who is the mother of bride from Max & Mellisa's wedding a few years back. She was one of the registrars at this wedding and it was lovely to see here again! There was a really funny moment in the middle of the wedding ceremony where the registrar was unsure of how to pronounce the bride's surname. Luckily these two have a great sense of humour! "Do you Ashley Sushi take...".
As it rained we quickly made the decision to do the confetti indoors once they had been pronounced as husband and wife. This made a nice change and stopped confetti sticking to the bride and groom.
Luke & Ashley were super laid back about the rain so we spent 15 minutes getting some great shots of them making sure they weren't getting too cold or wet. It was well worth braving the elements!
