Last month we joined the lovely Hayley & Jamie for an engagement shoot at Belcher's & Broadfield Woods in Braintree.
It was the first time we had been to this woodland in Braintree and it offered some great backdrops for the pre-wedding photoshoot. We used the time to get them comfortable in front of the camera, learn what they like and don't like and more importantly, get to know each over.
We feel that it's just as important for the wedding photographer to feel comfortable with the couple as it is for them to feel comfortable with us. It makes the day much more relaxed and means they don't have a stranger sticking a camera in their face telling them to do poses that they know they don't like. It's one of the reasons why we have a free engagement shoot with every wedding photography booking.
