It's not very often that you get to shoot someone's wedding who you'd consider being one of your best mates. I've known Daniel for roughly 10 years and it was an absolute honour to shoot his and David's wedding.

David & Daniel have been together for a very long time and they chose to have small, intimate wedding with close friends and family to mark this incredible occasion. The day started at Saffron Walden Registry Office where they had their ceremony. The couple were sharing secret kisses before the ceremony and love was certainly in the air.
We were really excited for this wedding because not only are we close friends with these two, it was also our first gay wedding and we couldn't of picked a better couple to pop our gay wedding photography cherry!
After the ceremony headed to Daniel & David's beautiful home and relaxed, chatted, listened to music, and played with their cats while they both opened their wedding gifts. These two are extremely lucky to have such incredible friends (mainly me) and family, it was an absolute pleasure to be there.
After a couple of hours we headed to a local restaurant where we were confronted with a hilarious mistake. The restaurant had plastered our table with happy birthday banners and balloons, we just laughed it off and ordered at least one thousand starters (I think this was a mistake on my behalf as afterwards I ordered a rack of ribs which I was then shortly presented with what I can only imagine was a full rack of ribs from Godzilla himself. I don't think I'll ever get over that food coma).
The conversation flowed and the laughs endured as we talked about our love for RuPaul's Drag Race and the gender swap snapchat filter was brought out, no one was safe.
The restaurant was situated in the heart of the Essex countryside so we took the opportunity to grab some couple portraits in between courses. We were blessed with incredible weather!
