As a team we had high expectations for Claire & Mike's wedding and, trust me when I say, it did not disappoint! We met Claire and Mike for the first time over a couple of drinks in The Flitch House and instantly we knew their chemistry and was so strong and it mirrored our energy perfectly.
The wedding was held at Pontlands Park in Chelmsford, which is a stunning hotel located on gorgeous grounds. This was our first time shooting this venue and we loved the hidden gems that we kept stumbling across; the pond with a beautiful bridge, a stunning entrance and a gorgeous grand staircase.
The morning began in a relaxed fashion with Patryk heading to the venue with the groom, his best man and brother and Sam heading to Claire's mums to photograph the bride and bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done. The morning was super chilled and relaxed, with everything running smoothly and, unbelievably, on time!
The ceremony was held in a church that Claire's mum is actually the vicar at, St Mary With St Leonard C of E Church. This location held a lot of meaning of the family and it was beautiful to watch such a personal and intimate ceremony!
These two smashed their couples photos later on and Mike rocked his speech! We feel so grateful to have been part of this magical day and share in the love that these two have for each other as well as their friends and family. What an incredible start to the wedding season!
