Wedding Photographer & Videographer

HUSBAND + FATHER + CREATIVE

I've always been a creative person from a young age whether it would be drawing or picking up a camera. In fact, I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in cameras. I'd always steal the family camera on holidays from the age of seven and still do to this day!

It wasn't until about 2012 when I started to take photography and videography seriously after starting a media company with a friend. We mainly shot family pictures and commercial videos for local businesses which I still do and love - you can see my work here. One day, I got the opportunity to do work experience with Tom Haliday, an incredible wedding photographer based in Saffron Walden, who let me loose on a couple of weddings with him as a second shooter. This is when I realised that I wanted to shoot more weddings. It's a very special thing being part of someone's wedding day which is something I hadn't felt when working on other types of projects - I got to build a friendship with the couple over that day and it's something I still try and do with clients. It makes such a difference when you care about who you work with so I really love to get to know my clients to see what makes them tick.

My first love has to be my family. In late 2012, I met my wife Emma at a house party and since then we've got married and had a son called Noah who is now four. Having a child at eighteen was probably one of the best things that happened to me, it allowed made me focus on things I wanted to do in life and now I can pretty much recite every word of Peppa Pig, season three - who doesn't want that at five in the morning?

I do a lot of charity work with Great Dunmow Round Table which has given me the opportunity to do things that I never thought I would. I'm currently the main organiser of a soapbox race which is now the second largest soapbox race in the UK raising over £40,000 for charity this year.

I'm always up for trying new things, exploring new places and getting to know new faces so if you'd like to meet up for a coffee or a beer to talk about your big day, please get in touch!
